Hypothyroidism Post Cycle
Hey Guys
Depending on where you stand with your PCT, there are chances that you my have a low or diagnosed hypothyroid situation. If you have had your blood work and in particular your T4 and TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) before heading down the path of chemically bringing your levels up with synthroid, I would make the recommendation that your first try to level off by using supplements. Part of your PCT will already contain many of the B vitamins but I just wanted to pass on this recommendation.
Essential
Kelp 2-3000 mg daily Contains iodine, the basic substance of thyroid hormone.
L-Tyrosine 500 mg twice daily, on an empty stomach. Take with water or juice. Do not take with milk or milk product. Low plasma levels have been associated with hypothyroidism of the essential amino acids.
B6 50 mg twice daily Helps for better absorption of L-Tyrosine.
Vitamin C 100 mg twice daily Helps for better absorption of the L-Tyrosine.
Very Important
Multi-glandular from American Biologics As directed on label. Nutritional supplement for the endocrine, hormonal, and enzyme systems.
ThyroStart from Silver Sage As directed on label. An herbal supplement that contains ingredients to support the thyroid, including iodine.
Important
Vitamin B complex 100 mg of each major B vitamin 3 times a day with meals. B vitamins improve cellular oxygenation and energy and are needed for proper digestion, immune function, and thyroid function.
Extra B2 vitamin 50 mg twice daily
Vitamin B12 1-2000 mcg 3x/daily, on an empty stomach Use a lozenge or sublingual form for best absorption.
