My next fight!!!

I wanted to give the low down on my next fight, July 18, 2008 in the hometown of toughman. When I was in Mississippi for the world championships I was personally asked by the owner and creator of toughman to come fight for him in the hometown of toughman, with my entry fee waived because I was invited. I happily accepted his offer to fight. I have received the letter and application to fight. It is a USA Boxing Sanctioned Event and their rules will be in effect. Every fighter has to be a member of USA Boxing and have an active 2008 boxing license.

I am happy to be fighting again after my loss at the worlds. I have 4 weeks before my fight. I am back in the gym as of today after taking a few weeks off to recouperate from the beating I put my body through preparing for and fighting in the worlds. I have dropped a few pounds but I am looking to get them back in the upcoming weeks before the show with my diet and supplemetation and intense training. I think I am going to train for this fight a little different than I did for the worlds and hopefully it works out better for me.

I have found out that my opponent is about my size and is a golden gloves boxer. Let the pounding begin!

what weight will it be at.

and is it legit boxing or more of a mma style fight?

Thanks bro. I have seen some golden gloves boxers get knocked out by guys that dont even box. I have a good feeling about this one and a good mind set right now.

I will be fighting at 235-240lbs. It is just a boxing match. USA Boxing Sanctioned with their rules and officials. As far as I know it will be the same as a toughman fight with round time, but I am not completely sure.
